Griffon oversees the operations of its subsidiaries, allocates resources among them and manages their capital structures. Griffon provides direction and assistance to its subsidiaries in connection with acquisition and growth opportunities as well as in connection with divestitures. In order to further diversify, Griffon also seeks out, evaluates and, when appropriate, will acquire additional businesses that offer potentially attractive returns on capital.

We are focused on acquiring, owning and operating businesses in a variety of industries. We are long-term investors with substantial experience in the industries which we serve. Our intent is to continue the growth of our existing segments and to diversify further through investments and acquisitions.

Griffon’s name was inspired by the mythical beast that was half-lion, half-eagle, and entrusted with the protection of valuable treasure. Like its namesake, Griffon aspires to achieve strength through diversity and will build value for its shareholders through providing world-class products to its customers across the globe.
