Ronald J. Kramer has been our Chairman since January 2018, Chief Executive Officer since April 2008 and a Director since 1993. From 2002 through March 2008, he was President and a Director of Wynn Resorts, Ltd. (NASDAQ:WYNN), a developer, owner and operator of destination casino resorts. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Kramer was a Managing Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, an investment banking firm, and its predecessor Wasserstein Perella & Co.
Robert F. Mehmel has been our President and Chief Operating Officer since December 2012. From August 2008 until October 2012, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of DRS Technologies, Inc. (formerly NYSE:DRS), a leading supplier of defense electronic products, systems and military support services (“DRS”). Mr. Mehmel was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of DRS from May 2006 to August 2008, and Executive Vice President, Business Operations and Strategy at DRS from January 2001 to April 2006. Before joining DRS, he held various positions in corporate and divisional management at Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE:JBL), L-3 Communications Corporation (NYSE:LLL), Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT), Loral Corporation (NASDAQ:LORL) and Lear Siegler, Inc. (NYSE:LEA).
Mr. Harris has been our Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since August 2015. From November 2012 to July 2015, he was our Vice President and Controller, and from July 2009 to July 2015 he was Griffon’s Chief Accounting Officer. From May 2005 to June 2009, Mr. Harris was Assistant Controller of Dover Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer (NYSE: DOV). Prior to this time, Mr. Harris held a variety of accounting and auditing roles with Hearst Argyle Television (Formerly NYSE: HTV), John Wiley and Sons, Inc. (NYSE: JW.A) and Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Mr. Kaplan has been the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Griffon Corporation since May 2010. From July 2008 to May 2010, he was the Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Hexcel Corporation (NYSE:HXL), a manufacturer of advanced composite materials for space and defense, commercial aerospace and wind energy applications. From 2000 to July 2008, Mr. Kaplan was the Senior Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Hexcel. From 1994 to 2000, he was an associate at the law firm Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP).
Mr. McSweeney has served as President of Telephonics Corporation since October 2016. From February 2012 to September 2016, Mr. McSweeney was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Telephonics, and from May 2004 to January 2012 he was Vice President and General Manager of Telephonics’ Radar Systems Division.
Prior to joining Telephonics in 2004, Mr. McSweeney spent sixteen years with Lockheed Martin in a variety of management roles, including Vice President, Maritime Safety, Security and Surveillance, and Vice President, Technical Operations. Before joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. McSweeney held a variety of software and engineering roles with Grumman Aerospace.
Mr. Lynch has been the President of Clopay Building Products Company since January of 2009. From January of 2001 through December of 2008, Mr. Lynch was Vice President of Marketing for Clopay Building Products Company. Prior to joining Clopay, Mr. Lynch spent nine years with Newell Company (NYSE: NWL) in various sales and marketing assignments. Before Newell, he spent eight years with Chicago based United States Gypsum (NYSE: USG).
Mr. Traylor has been President of AMES since January 2017, and was Chief Operating Officer of AMES from January 2016 to December 2016. From October 2011 to December 2015, Mr. Traylor was President of Southern Patio, a division of AMES consisting of its pots and planters business and its Australian operations. Prior to 2011, Mr. Traylor was a founder, partner and/or executive of a variety of businesses in the pots and planters, patio furniture, lawn and garden and hardware markets.
Mr. Sarrica became President of ClosetMaid in October 2017, while continuing in his role as Griffon’s Senior Vice President, Operations which he assumed in January 2017. From January 2014 to December 2016, Mr. Sarrica was President of the AMES Companies. Prior to joining AMES, Mr. Sarrica was President of DRS Network and Imaging Systems, a multi-site organization that serves various military, industrial and commercial markets. DRS Network and Imaging Systems is a subsidiary of DRS Technologies, Inc. (formerly NYSE:DRS), a leading supplier of integrated products, services and support to military forces, intelligence agencies and prime contractors worldwide. Mr. Sarrica held a variety of management and leadership roles at DRS from 1994 to January 2014.
